Jurgen Klopp names Mats Hummels in his starting lineup, with Sven Bender also passed fit.

Borussia Dortmund have been boosted by the fact that Mats Hummels has been passed fit to start for the trip to Schalke 04.

Sven Bender has also been deemed fit, however Sebastian Kehl has not been named. That means Ilkay Gundogan continues in midfield.

Hosts Schalke have named a very strong XI, with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar continuing his return to fitness up front, flanked by Julian Draxler and Jefferson Farfan.

Schalke: Hildebrand; Howedes, Uchida, Matip, Kolasinac; Neustadter, Hoger; Draxler, Farfan, Bastos; Huntelaar

Dortmund: Weidenfeller; Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer, Piszczek; Gundogan, Bender; Blaszczykowski, Gotze, Grosskreutz; Lewandowski
