Team News: Schalke 04 make two changes for SC Paderborn test

Roberto Di Matteo makes two changes to his Schalke side as Kaan Ayhan and Marco Hoger return for the meeting with Paderborn.

Roberto Di Matteo has made two changes to his Schalke 04 side for the Bundesliga game against SC Paderborn at Benteler Arena.

The Italian has responded to Saturday's 2-1 loss to FC Koln by dropping Christian Fuchs and Tranquillo Barnetta to the bench.

There are recalls for Marco Hoger and Kaan Ayhan as Schalke go in search of a win which would put pressure on the teams in the Champions League places ahead of the winter break.

Paderborn boss Andre Breitenreiter has named Elias Kachunga on the bench as Stefan Kutschke returns to the side to partner Mahir Saglik in attack.

Paderborn: Kruse, Wemmer, Strohdiek, Hünemeier, Rafa, Rupp, Vrancic, Bakalorz, Meha, Saglik, Kutschke

Schalke: Fährmann, Uchida, Höwedes, Kirchhoff, Ayhan, Aogo, Meyer, Höger, Neustädter, Choupo-Moting, Huntelaar
