Ikechi Anya believes that Scotland's draw against the Republic of Ireland yesterday could prove "massive" in their bid to qualify for Euro 2016.
Scotland earned a point in Dublin after Shaun Maloney cancelled out Jonathan Walters's opener.
Victories for Germany and Poland means that Scotland are adrift in third place in Group D, but Anya still remains positive.
He told BBC Sport: "That point could be massive for us come the end of the qualification.
"To get four points from two games against Ireland is massive and the result was better for us than them."
Scotland face Georgia before hosting Germany in their next round of qualifiers in September.
