Craig Levein praises front pair

Craig Levein praises the performances of Kenny Miller and Jamie Mackie against Cyprus.

Scotland manager Craig Levein has heaped praise on striking duo Kenny Miller and Jamie Mackie.

Both found the back of the net last night as Scotland recorded a 2-1 victory over Cyprus.

"The first [goal] was fantastic for us as that's something Kenny's been working on," Levein told BBC Scotland.

"And the second one was a fantastic piece of skill by Jamie Mackie.

"I felt we had enough chances tonight that would normally come our way in two international games."

Levein's side failed to qualify for next year's European Championships.
