Scunthorpe United chairman Peter Swann has confirmed that the club has ended its interest in Dutch striker Kevin van Keen.
The 23-year-old, who plays for FC Oss, had been linked with both The Iron and Sheffield United in recent weeks.
Despite Scunny boss Mark Robins previously expressing an interest in the forward, Swann has revealed that he will not be coming to Glanford Park.
"Kevin is a quality player we looked at last year and Mark went to see him play after interest was raised a few months ago," he told the club's official website.
"He is a good player but we did not and have not made an offer for him and have moved on to other targets."
Scunthorpe continue their League One campaign on Tuesday when they host MK Dons.
