Sevilla book their place in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey with a 4-0 win over Real Zaragoza at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Sevilla have reached the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey thanks to a 4-0 win over Real Zaragoza at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Following a 0-0 draw in the first leg, two goals from Alvaro Negredo and strikes from Ivan Rakitic and Manu were enough to see Unai Emery's side into the last four.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men with 26 minutes on the clock as Jose Fernandez was shown a straight red card for his reckless challenge on Jose Antonio Reyes.

Sevilla made the extra man count 10 minutes later when Negredo headed in from a corner.

They doubled their advantage on the stroke of half time thanks to Rakitic's emphatic finish into the top corner.

The tie was put beyond doubt in the 65th minute when Negredo fired in from the penalty spot after Gonzalez had picked up a second yellow card for his foul on Cicinho.

Sevilla bagged a fourth goal late into injury time as Manu was allowed to breeze through the Zaragoza defence before firing in.
