Former Watford manager Quique Flores has emerged as the favourite to take the reins at La Liga outfit Sevilla this summer.
Current Sevilla coach Unai Emery is believed to be edging closer to a deal to replace Laurent Blanc at the head of Paris Saint-Germain as the Ligue 1 champions look to make major changes ahead of next season.
Flores decided to leave the Hornets last month despite becoming the first ever manager to keep them in the Premier League, with a respectable 13th-place finish.
Espanyol were thought to be interested in his services, as were Everton at one stage, but Sevilla are now reportedly confident of tying Flores down to a deal that would see him compete in the Champions League next term.
Flores's managerial experience in the top flight of Spanish football includes stints at Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Getafe.
