Sevilla winger Vitolo has praised his team for their recovery in Tuesday evening's European Super Cup against Barcelona.
Unai Emery's side trailed 4-1 early in the second period, but scored three goals in the final 30 minutes to force extra time.
Barca eventually won it in the 115th minute, but Vitolo believes that his side deserve a lot of praise for their response.
"For me, the team were 10/10. What we did [in coming back from behind] was spectacular," Vitolo told reporters.
"It's not easy to overcome a 4-1 deficit against Barcelona. We wanted to bring the trophy home to our fans, but it wasn't to be."
Vitolo set up Jose Antonio Reyes for Sevilla's second in Georgia, before winning the penalty that led to their third.
