Ukrainian international Yevhen Konoplyanka has revealed that he turned down a host of offers to join Sevilla this summer.
The attacker was available on a free transfer after deciding to leave Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk following the expiration of his contract.
A number of clubs were linked with the 25-year-old, but Europa League winners Sevilla won the race.
"I'm very happy to be here, I had other offers but I was eager to come to Sevilla," Konoplyanka told reporters.
"We have a great team and the next title we win will be the Champions League. In La Liga, there are two very strong teams in Real Madrid and Barcelona, but Sevilla can beat them."
Konoplyanka scored eight goals in 42 games for Dnipro last season.
