Sunday's Championship predictions including Sheffield United vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Sheffield United vs. Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday will make the short trip to Bramall Lane on Sunday to take on rivals Sheffield United in the first Steel City Derby in over five years.

The last three editions of the derby, including two at Bramall Lane, ended in goalless draws in England's second tier, while the hosts currently sit 10 points ahead of their visitors in the Championship table.

We say: Sheffield United 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Given the recent run of results between the Sheffield sides and the hosts' tight defensive record, we can only envisage a cagey and low-scoring encounter in Sunday's Steel City Derby.

If either team find an opener, one goal could be decisive and the Blades should have the quality to come out on top given the Owls' struggles at the back.

Hull City vs. West Brom (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Both looking to halt their worrying winless runs, Hull City and West Bromwich Albion will clash for an all-important Championship match at the MKM Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers were defeated on the road by newly-promoted Oxford United last time out, whereas the Baggies endured another frustrating evening at The Hawthorns against Burnley.

We say: Hull City 0-0 West Bromwich Albion

With key absentees on both sides, we are expecting a low-scoring affair between Hull and West Brom at the MKM Stadium, where a moment of quality could decide the destination of the points.

For all their attacking struggles, the Baggies have remained relatively solid and should be able to force a share of the spoils on Humberside.

Burnley vs. Swansea (Sunday, 3.00pm)

Burnley play host to Swansea City on Sunday afternoon under pressure to get back on track after a poor run of form.

At a time when the Clarets sit in fourth position in the Championship table, the visitors have recently moved into ninth place.

We say: Burnley 2-1 Swansea City

This has all the makings of a competitive fixture now that Swansea have found some form at the same time as Burnley have lost their way. Nevertheless, Parker is aware that he must change something to instigate a turnaround, which may lead to a late victory at Turf Moor.
