Sheffield United's Craig Alcock makes Doncaster Rovers switch

Sheffield United defender Craig Alcock makes a loan switch to Doncaster Rovers until December 7.

Doncaster Rovers have secured the services of Sheffield United defender Craig Alcock on a month-long loan.

The 27-year-old has not featured for the Blades since September because of a rib injury.

However, having recently overcome that complaint, the full-back has been loaned out to the Keepmoat Stadium to boost his match fitness.

The move reunites Alcock with Donny manager Darren Ferguson, with the pair having previously worked together at Peterborough United.

The former Yeovil Town player will wear the No.38 shirt during his time at the club.
