Sheffield United defender Terry Kennedy and striker Jamie Murphy have penned new deals with the League One club.
Murphy, 25, who joined the Blades from Motherwell two years ago, will remain at Bramall Lane until 2017.
Twenty-one-year-old Kennedy has extended his deal until the summer of 2016, though both players have the option of an extra year.
"Both are influential members of the squad and have the potential to be even better," Blades boss Nigel Clough told the club's official website.
"Jamie has caused Premier League defenders countless problems in our cup runs, whilst Terry is a no-nonsense defender, the type of which are particularly appreciated at Bramall Lane."
Murphy has scored 10 goals in 74 appearances for Sheffield United, while Kennedy has made nine appearances for the Blades.
