Sheffield United defender Darryl Westlake has revealed that he is hoping to make a permanent move to Mansfield Town, where he is currently on loan.
The 23-year-old is out of contract with the Yorkshire club at the end of the season and will soon hold talks with manager Nigel Clough to decide his future.
"I'll go back there at the end of the season and speak to Nigel Clough, then see what happens," Westlake told the Nottingham Post.
"I haven't spoken to them at all while I've been here, so I'll just speak to them at the end of the season.
"I don't think I'll be there after the summer, to be honest, but they haven't given me any indication. I would love to stay here. It's a good club."
Mansfield currently occupy 12th position in League Two.
