Sheffield Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay 'very happy' with FA Cup progress

Sheffield Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay praises his players and the club's support following their win over Reading.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay has expressed his delight with his players and the club's supporters following their 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup.

Speaking during his post-match press conference, the Dutchman hailed his side for their clinical finishing and singled out goalkeeper Cameron Dawson for plaudits.

"We are happy to be in the next round, we were highly effective with our chances and happy with the goals," he told reporters. "The players have been fantastic in training, very intensive work and we are happy with the team

"Our fans gave a lot of support and that gave a lot of motivation to the players.

"Reading gave us problems in the first half, had a couple of chances but we have a fantastic goalkeeper and in the right moments, we took our chances to score."

A brace from Atdhe Nuhiu and a second-half strike by George Boyd helped Wednesday book their spot in round five, with Reading's consolation coming via a Dawson own goal.
