Half-Time Report: Mamady Sidibe puts Sheffield Wednesday ahead

Sheffield Wednesday are ahead against Bolton Wanderers at the break thanks to a powerful header from on-loan striker Mamady Sidibe.

In-form Sheffield Wednesday are 45 minutes from recording a third successive victory after a bright start against Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium.

On-loan striker Mamady Sidibe put the visitors ahead with a bullet header from close range, giving Adam Bogdan in the Bolton goal no chance.

Bolton had shaded possession in the early stages and forced Chris Kirkland into a smart save through David N'Gog.

Benik Afobe's pace caused Wednesday problems throughout the first half but Dougie Freedman's side trail at the interval.

Miguel Llera nearly doubled the Owls' advantage before the break but his header from close range drifted just wide of the post.
