Half-Time Report: Sheffield Wednesday, Wigan Athletic locked at 1-1 at half time

Stevie May's equaliser sees Sheffield Wednesday enter half time level with Wigan Athletic.

Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan Athletic are level at 1-1 at half time of their Championship clash at Hillsborough.

Wigan took the lead when James McClean's corner found Chris McCann to head the ball in, just before the half-hour mark.

However, their lead didn't last long as Adthe Nuhiu set up Stevie May to slot the ball in from the middle of the box just two minutes later.

Wednesday had the better of a quiet opening 20 minutes and came closest to taking the lead when Jose Semedo crashed an effort against the post from 20 yards.

Both sides went on to create plenty of chances but the two keepers remained firm as they kept the score level.
