Sheffield Wednesday will be without captain Glenn Loovens for up to two months after he suffered a fractured ankle in training.
The defender was due to undergo a fitness test ahead of his side's game with Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon, but did not feature in the 0-0 draw at Hillsborough.
Owls manager Stuart Gray told the club's official website: "It's a blow, of course it is. Glenn has had a scan and it's a fractured bone on the ankle. He's wearing a boot now and we're looking at six to eight weeks.
"But we had Kamil Zayatte who came in today and I thought he did really well. Kamil and Tom Lees complimented each other so we do have some depth."
Wednesday currently sit 11th in the Championship table following their 13th draw of the season.
