Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones has claimed that his side were punished by an incorrect decision in the dying stages this afternoon's match with Millwall.
The Owls looked on course for three points until three minutes from time when the referee awarded a penalty after deeming that Jeremy Helan had brought down Richard Chaplow.
Andy Keogh dispatched the spot kick to earn a point for the Lions, but Jones believes that Stuart Atwell was wrongly swayed by the linesman.
"We should see it out, we should win the game," PA quotes Jones as saying. "We got caught with being the wrong side, it's not a penalty.
"The referee's closer; for some reason the linesman decides he wants to get involved and give it.
"We've watched it, we've watched it from every angle and it's not a penalty but that's not the reason why [we haven't won]."
Wednesday make the trip to the Riverside Stadium next Saturday to take on Middlesbrough.
