Preview: Brentford vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Sports Mole previews Sheffield Wednesday's trip to Griffin Park to play Brentford.

Sheffield Wednesday will be without midfielder Sam Hutchinson for their visit to Brentford on Tuesday evening.

The former Chelsea man lasted just seven minutes into his return from injury during the 3-0 loss to Watford on Saturday that extended their winless run to five games.

Left-sided player Royston Drenthe could be included in midfield as the Owls look to avoid dropping into the bottom half of the table at Griffin Park.

Brentford go into the fixture on the back of a 0-0 draw away at Wigan Athletic as they recorded just their third clean sheet of the season.

That made it seven points from 12 for the Bees who have, so far, coped with their first appearance in the second tier of English football for over 20 years.

Boss Mark Warburton, who has seen his team win their last two home contests, could name an unchanged starting lineup.

Sports Mole says: 2-1
