Sheffield United have reportedly identified Sheffield Wednesday forward Sam Winnall as a potential transfer target.
The Blades are currently in the process of trying to improve their options in the final third, with both David Brooks and Clayton Donaldson having left Bramall Lane.
Chris Wilder is allegedly considering a move for Southampton's Sam Gallagher but according to The Star, Winnall is also on the club's radar.
The 27-year-old spent the most recent campaign on loan at Derby County - scoring six goals in 17 outings - and it leaves his career at Hillsborough up in the air.
Winnall still has two years remaining on his contract with the Owls, but head coach Jos Luhukay is seemingly still to make a decision on the player's future.
