Shrewsbury Town have agreed a deal to sign Bolton Wanderers striker Tom Eaves until the first week of January.
Eaves has already spent a period away from the Reebok Stadium this season, scoring one goal in nine appearances for Rotherham United.
However, he was recalled by boss Dougie Freedman after mainly featuring from the substitutes' bench, giving Shrewsbury the opportunity to hand the 21-year-old some first-team football at the Greenhous Meadow.
Eaves also spent time at the Shropshire outfit during the last campaign, netting an impressive six times in 10 starts.
