Martin Skrtel, Marek Hamsik make Slovakia squad for Euro 2016

Martin Skrtel, Marek Hamsik and Juraj Kucka are among the players selected in Slovakia's 23-man squad for Euro 2016 this summer.

Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel and Napoli attacker Marek Hamsik have been included in Slovakia's squad for Euro 2016 this summer.

Slovakia will take on both England and Wales in the group stages in France, opening their campaign against the latter on June 11.

Manager Jan Kozak has now named his final 23-man squad for the tournament, with Hamsik, Skrtel and AC Milan midfielder Juraj Kucka the standout players selected.

Former Chelsea midfielder Miroslav Stoch, ex-Everton goalkeeper Jan Mucha and Manchester City's former midfielder Vladimir Weiss are also included.

Slovakia, who will also face Russia at the tournament, stunned world champions Germany with a 3-1 victory in Augsburg in their final warm-up game before naming their squad.
