Friday's Euro 2024 predictions including Netherlands vs. France

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Euro 2024 fixtures, including Netherlands vs. France.

Slovakia vs. Ukraine (Friday, 2.00pm)

Buoyed from their surprise win over Belgium, Slovakia will be targeting three more points when they face Ukraine in Friday's Euro 2024 Group E clash at the Dusseldorf Arena.

In contrast to their opponents, Ukraine are searching for their first points of the tournament after falling to a heavy defeat in their tournament opener against Romania.

We say: Slovakia 1-1 Ukraine

Ukraine will be desperate to produce an improved display following their underwhelming performance against Romania, but their record in the European Championship group stage offers little cause for inspiration, having won just two of their previous 10 group matches (L8).

We ultimately think Rebrov's side will be held to a draw by Slovakia, who are unbeaten in four matches and boast a strong defence as demonstrated by their stubborn display against Belgium.

Poland vs. Austria (Friday, 5.00pm)

Poland and Austria meet at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Friday evening both aware they can ill-afford another defeat in Group D.

Both nations began their Euro 2024 campaigns with defeats, with Poland going down 2-1 to Netherlands and France edging out Austria by a 1-0 scoreline.

We say: Poland 1-1 Austria

With both nations having to find a balance being avoiding defeat and pushing for three points, we expect a tense affair to play out in Berlin. Austria could have the better of the contest, but if Lewandowski returns as expected, we anticipated him making an impact.

Netherlands vs. France (Friday, 8.00pm)

A battle of the Group D behemoths headlines Friday's Euro 2024 fixtures, as the Netherlands and France pit their wits against one another at the Red Bull Arena for the right to guarantee last-16 progression.

Ronald Koeman's men fought back from a goal down to sink Poland 2-1 in their opening affair, while Les Bleus also scraped a narrow success over Austria, albeit one that was marred by an injury to their star man.

We say: Netherlands 0-0 France

As Mbappe's lightning burst of pace was critical to France picking the Austrian lock, his expected absence robs Les Bleus of their X-factor for Friday's tie of the titans, where defences could come out on top.

The Netherlands may have been in free-scoring mode for most of the past year, but Deschamps's defence are one of the toughest nuts to crack right now, and this blockbuster may very well end without the net bulging once.
