Ligue 2 side Sochaux have appointed former Metz boss Albert Cartier as their new manager.
Cartier was in charge of Les Grenats when they were relegated from the top flight last season.
The 54-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a deal which keeps him at the Stade Auguste Bonal until 2017.
He replaces Eric Hely and Omar Daf, who managed Sochaux on an interim basis, with the club second from bottom in Ligue 2.
Cartier has had two stints in charge of Metz, as well spells managing in Greece and Belgium.
