Sochaux coach Eric Hely believes that his substitutions changed the game against Lille.
Les Lionceaux trailed 3-0 at the Grand Stade Lille Metropole until the 79th minute, when Cedric Kante began the comeback.
A brace by Vincent Nogueira followed, which ensured a point that helped Hely's men go level on points with Nancy and Evian in the battle against relegation.
However, the 48-year-old coach said that the introductions of Slovan Privat, Mathieu Peybernes and Yassin Mikari did much to help his team's cause.
"The players who came off the bench brought more," Hely told reporters.
"In accounting terms, we are happy, but in terms of performance, there is still a lot to improve for four games remaining before the end of the season."
Sochaux play host to Lorient next Saturday.
