Report: Sochaux star Moussa Sao on Stoke City, Reading and Sheffield Wednesday radar

Sochaux midfielder and former France futsal star Moussa Sao, 28, is believed to be a transfer target for Championship trio Stoke City, Reading and Sheffield Wednesday.

Sochaux midfielder Moussa Sao has emerged as a transfer target for Championship trio Stoke City, Reading and Sheffield Wednesday.

The 28-year-old, who made 18 appearances in all competitions last season, is out of contract with the Ligue 2 club this summer.

Previously a futsal player for the France national team, Sao is one of the most successful players to make the switch from indoor to outdoor football along with Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder.

According to The Sun, Sao's agent Haroun Sow is braced for offers from England to land the player, with Stoke, Reading and Wednesday believed to be interested.

Sao began his professional 11-a-side football career with Le Havre in 2013 before moving to Sochaux two years later.
