Marvin Martin has revealed that "progress" has been made regarding his proposed transfer to Lille.
A number of European clubs, including Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Valencia have all been linked with the 24-year-old.
However, it now appears that Lille have won the race for the Sochaux winger, who is believed to be costing around £8m.
"My personal situation and my signature at Lille? Progress has been made," he told L'Equipe. "There are a few things missing, but it progresses."
Martin is expected to act as a direct replacement for Eden Hazard, who officially joined Chelsea at the weekend.
