Jose Fonte expecting physical match against Hull City

Southampton defender Jose Fonte feels that he and his teammates are in for a physical clash in their Premier League match against Hull City at the KC Stadium.

Southampton defender Jose Fonte believes that his side will face a physical test in their Premier League clash against Hull City later today.

The Saints travel to the KC Stadium fresh off two victories over Stoke City in the top flight last Saturday and in the Capital One Cup in midweek.

Fonte feels that the Tigers will present a difficult match for his side, despite their recent run of good form in all competitions.

He told the club's official website: "Hull City away is always a tough one, we know that from experience. They are different to Stoke, they have very good footballers in midfield and upfront and they will present us with a different challenge.

"It will be physical, it will be intense, it'll be a good game and we are ready for it, we are prepared and hopefully we can come up with a good result."

Southampton are second in the Premier League going into their match against Steve Bruce's side.
