Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez reveals that he is delighted with his current form after scoring his third goal in as many games in their win over Reading.

Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez has revealed that he is delighted to have finally found his form in the Premier League following his £6m move from Burnley last summer.

The 23-year-old struggled for regular first-team action early in the season but he has now scored three goals in his last three games, including in the Saints' 2-0 win over Reading on Saturday.

"I'm getting a run in the team so I'm getting experience by playing – I think that's what I needed," he told the club's official website.

"I need to get games to improve my form, and now I need to keep working hard because I've got a lot to improve."

Rodriguez has scored nine goals in all competitions for the Saints this season.
