Southampton head coach Ivan Juric is at risk of being without Tyler Dibling for Sunday's Premier League meeting with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
The attacking sensation came off with an ankle problem in the 3-1 loss to Manchester United on Thursday night, although it is still not clear how severe his concern is.
However, the tight turnaround means that Dibling will be a serious doubt for the clash with the Tricky Trees even if it is a minor concern, although Juric is not short of alternative options up front.
All of Paul Onuachu, Adam Armstrong and Cameron Archer can operate as part of a front two alongside Kamaldeen Sulemana, and the towering former might get the nod as Juric seeks an aerial threat to test Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic's mettle.
Changes should not be limited to the final third in spite of Southampton's valiant display at Old Trafford, as the fit-again Flynn Downes should also come into the engine room in place of Joe Aribo.
James Bree was also given the nod as part of a back three on Thursday evening, but Juric may now promote Nathan Wood back to the first XI, as Jan Bednarek and Taylor Harwood-Bellis reprise their roles in front of Aaron Ramsdale.
Southampton possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; Wood, Bednarek, Harwood-Bellis; Sugawara, Downes, Ugochukwu, Walker-Peters; Fernandes; Onuachu, Sulemana
