Southampton remain top of the Championship after a 2-1 win over Hull on Tuesday evening.
Matt Fryatt, fresh from his two goals at the weekend, went close to breaking the deadlock for Hull after 20 minutes but was thwarted by a strong block from Jose Fonte.
Southampton were next to go close when Dan Harding found Rickie Lambert after 32 minutes, but his effort drifted just wide of the right-hand post. It was the away side who took the lead however after 43 minutes, courtesy of a Robert Koren header from close range.
Southampton levelled the match barely three minutes into the second period when Lambert found Guly, and the striker made no mistake from close range. They completed the turn around after 55 minutes when Adam Lallana's header put the home side 2-1 ahead.
Lallana continued to cause problems for the hosts as the match approached its climax while Hull City's Robbie Brady was sent off for serious foul play after 79 minutes.
Next up for the Saints is Doncaster, while Hull host Leicester.
