Southampton grant Morgan Schneiderlin a summer exit?

Southampton reportedly tell Morgan Schneiderlin that he is allowed to leave the club this summer if a bid in the region of £24m comes in.

Southampton have reportedly told Morgan Schneiderlin that he is allowed to leave the club this summer.

The Frenchman, who has been linked to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, has publicly stated that he wants to play Champions League football in the future.

It was widely reported that the 25-year-old tried to orchestrate a move away from the South coast club last year, but the Saints' hierarchy blocked it.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, Southampton have promised Schneiderlin that he can leave St Mary's after he rejected a new £60,000-a-week deal, but the Premier League club are holding out for a £24m bid.

Schneiderlin joined Southampton from Strasbourg in 2008.
