Southampton have signed goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg on a season-long loan from Fulham.
The 32-year-old spent last season on loan at Monaco, but he made just eight appearances for the Ligue 1 club.
He will now be expected to deputise for Fraser Forster, who is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury.
"I'm very pleased that I've joined," he told the club's official website. "It's a big, nice club that will play European football – and I can play. Last year I didn't play a lot, so it's an opportunity for me. I'm grateful.
"The last two years weren't the best of my career. As they say in England: the best is yet to come."
Stekelenburg has made 54 appearances for the Netherlands and was their number one keeper as they reached the World Cup final in 2010.
