Lamine Yamal could come in for his first Spain start in Tuesday's Euro 2024 qualification contest with Cyprus.
The 16-year-old became his country's youngest-ever player and goalscorer during Friday's 7-1 win over Georgia, and the Barcelona attacker is now in line to create more history against Cyprus.
There will have to be at least two changes to the side that took to the field for the first whistle against Georgia, as both Dani Olmo and Marco Asensio picked up injuries.
Olmo and Asensio have since withdrawn from the squad, with Ferran Torres and Yeremy Pino being introduced as their replacements ahead of the contest with Cyprus.
Yamal replaced Olmo off the bench on Friday, while Nico Williams came on for Asensio, and the Athletic Bilbao attacker is also set to start in the team's next match.
The bulk of the side that took to the field for the first whistle against Georgia should keep their spots, but Alejandro Balde might be introduced at left-back for Jose Gaya.
Mikel Merino, Joselu and Martin Zubimendi are also those in contention for possible starts, although Fabian Ruiz is expected to retain his position in the middle of midfield.
Alvaro Morata scored a hat-trick against Georgia on Friday, meanwhile, and the experienced forward will once again lead the Spain line in this contest.
Spain possible starting lineup: Simon; Carvajal, Le Normand, Laporte, Balde; Ruiz, Rodri, Gavi; Yamal, Asensio, N Williams
