Monday's Euro 2020 predictions including Spain vs. Sweden

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Monday's Euro 2020 fixtures, including Spain vs. Sweden.

Scotland vs. Czech Republic (Monday, 2.00pm)

Scotland will be looking to make the perfect start to their Group D campaign when they open their European Championship with a clash against the Czech Republic at Hampden Park on Monday afternoon.

England and Croatia are the favourites to claim the top two positions in this section, but third spot could yet be enough to advance to the round of 16, and Steve Clarke's side will be eyeing a huge three points here.

We say: Scotland 1-1 Czech Republic

There is simply no downplaying the importance of this match to both teams, but we are finding it incredibly difficult to separate them. Both are capable of causing problems in the final third of the field, but it might end up being a cagey affair in Glasgow, and we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Poland vs. Slovakia (Monday, 5.00pm)

Coming into the tournament amid a grim run of form, Poland kick off their Euro 2020 campaign against Group E outsiders Slovakia on Monday, in St Petersburg.

As the Eagles enter the finals with their only win this year coming against lowly Andorra, the pressure is on coach Paulo Sousa to start with a win in Russia's cultural capital.

We say: Poland 1-0 Slovakia

Due to preparations disrupted by injury and experimentation, Poland's status as favourites for this game is far from secure. Nonetheless, the undimmable talents of Piotr Zielinski and national icon Robert Lewandowski should prove enough to crack a resolute Slovakia rearguard on Monday.

Even following a potential defeat, there will still be all to play for, as the Slovaks will be aware that two teams progressed in third place during the 2016 event despite tallying only three group stage points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Spain vs. Sweden (Monday, 8.00pm)

Three-time winners Spain will be looking to make the perfect start to their Euro 2020 campaign when they take on Sweden in Seville on Monday night.

La Roja are bidding to win a fourth European Championship, which would make them the most successful team in the history of the competition, while Sweden will be attempting to make it out of the group stages for the first time since Euro 2004, when they progressed to the quarter-finals.

We say: Spain 2-1 Sweden

This could end up being a very tricky match for Spain, as Sweden should be full of confidence. Spain's preparations, as mentioned, have been difficult, but we fancy Enrique's side to open their Euro 2020 campaign with a narrow but extremely important win.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
