Spain Under-21 boss Albert Celades has paid tribute to the performance of Everton attacker Gerard Deulofeu in his country's 3-2 win over Croatia on Tuesday.
Deulofeu, 21, made it five goals in his last two Under-21 games by netting a brace in La Roja's narrow victory in their 2017 Under-21 European Championship qualifier.
Celades has said that the winger "had a great game" and called on him to continue producing performances of the same level.
"Gerard had a great game. We encourage him to continue to score these goals and put in these good performances," Celades, whose team currently sit top of Group 6 on 13 points, told reporters.
The former Barcelona attacker, who has been in good form for Everton in recent weeks, has 13 goals in 24 games for Spain's Under-21 team, but his sole senior cap came in 2014.
