Spain international striker Fernando Torres was delighted to win his 100th cap for his country on Friday.
The Chelsea striker reached the landmark during the European and world champions' 5-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in a friendly international in Pontevedra.
"It's a day I'm never going to forget," said Torres after the match.
"The number of players reaching the 100 club says a lot about the national team in recent years and, fortunately, there are many players who will pass 100 games, and younger ones like Cesc [Fabregas] and [Sergio] Ramos.
"We need to be proud about that, it's a team that's been together many years and that means it is easier to achieve things. I think it's a privilege to be here with these companions."
Torres, 28, has won Euro 2008, 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012 with Spain.
