Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has admitted that he is desperate to play in the Champions League again next season.
Spurs were involved in a number of memorable matches when they were last in the competition two seasons ago.
Arguably their most famous victory came at the San Siro when they beat AC Milan 1-0 in the last 16.
"It's felt as if that is what's been missing this season," Bale told The Guardian. "It's the best club competition in the world, and I'm desperate to test myself in it. The team are, too.
"I'm still young and improving, and if I competed in the Champions League again next season I know I'd be a better player than I was last year. I'd offer something different, for sure."
Manager Harry Redknapp claimed on Friday that Bale and teammate Luka Modric would be unlikely to leave in the summer if the third-placed club did not achieve Champions League qualification.
