Tottenham Hotspur suffered Champions League heartbreak as they lost 2-0 to Liverpool in Saturday evening's final in Madrid.
The Lilywhites fell behind less than two minutes in as Mohamed Salah converted from the penalty spot after Moussa Sissoko was adjudged to have handled Sadio Mane's cross.
Spurs were arguably the better side over the course of the 90 minutes, but they were not clinical enough in front of goal and struggled to really get going until the final quarter of the all-English affair.
Here, Sports Mole rates the performances of Mauricio Pochettino's players from the clash at the Wanda Metropolitano.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Goal
Hugo Lloris: Made one good save to keep out Andy Robertson's long-range strike but maybe could have done more to stop the penalty and was not as assured as opposite number Alisson Becker. (6/10)
Defence
Kieran Trippier: Started slowly as Mane got at him but recovered well enough. Did well to thwart the same player shortly after Liverpool's opener and played on with an injury. (6/10)
Toby Alderweireld: Produced a good pass from the back to set Son clear. Defensively, he had far less to do than perhaps expected as Liverpool were quiet in between their two goals. (6/10)
Jan Vertonghen: Like Alderweireld, he played some good passes out from the back but will be disappointed by the manner of the second goal his side conceded, coming from a right-sided corner. (6/10)
Danny Rose: Failed to make the most of the opportunities to attack Liverpool in the first half but recovered in the second, though this was far from his finest evening. (6/10)
Midfield
Moussa Sissoko: His biggest impact on the game came 24 seconds in when he left his arm dangling to concede a penalty. Could not get his side going from deep and was sacrificed in the second half. (5/10)
Harry Winks: Passed a fitness test to start in Madrid and was just about his side's best player before being taken off in the second period. Composed on the ball and kept play ticking along. (7/10)
Dele Alli: Overhit a simple through-ball for Son and did not offer the runs in behind that we have become used to seeing.(5/10)
Christian Eriksen: Another player who failed to turn up on the biggest night of his career. Was far from terrible but best he could manage was a curled free kick that Alisson dealt with. (6/10)
Son Heung-min: The most dangerous of Tottenham's attacking players but could not quite make the difference in the final third. A couple of half-chances for the South Korean went begging. (6/10)
Attack
Harry Kane: His lack of fitness told as he managed just 11 touches of the ball in the first half and did not get involved in the second. Pochettino's gamble to use Kane from the off after a spell on the sidelines did not pay off. (4/10)
Substitutes
Lucas Moura: The semi-final hero was pretty lively when coming off the bench. (7/10)
Eric Dier: Was brought on for Sissoko in the second half and struggled at times, particularly in the build-up to Liverpool's killer second goal. (4/10)
Fernando Llorente: Was brought on too late to make any sort of impact. Should have been given more than 10 minutes on the field. (5/10)
