How Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Europa League match against LASK Linz

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Thursday's Europa League group clash with LASK Linz.

Tottenham Hotspur kick off their Europa League Group J campaign with a home match against Austrian side LASK Linz on Thursday evening.

Jose Mourinho's men squandered a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 with West Ham United last weekend and will be looking to respond in this European match.

The Lilywhites, knocked out of the competition at the last-32 stage last season, are expected to make mass changes with a packed fixture list to navigate.

Here, Sports Mole looks at Spurs could line up against LASK at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Possible TOTXI vs. LIN

Out: Japhet Tanganga (thigh), Joe Rodon (ineligible)
Doubtful: Eric Dier (hamstring), Giovanni Lo Celso (thigh)

After being brought on as a second-half substitute in the West Ham capitulation, Gareth Bale is in line to make his second debut for Spurs on Thursday.

Carlos Vinicius is also pushing for inclusion for the first time since arriving in the summer transfer window, but fellow newbie Joe Rodon is not eligible to play any part.

Harry Winks and Lucas Moura were brought on as substitutes against West Ham and will surely be in contention to start against LASK, while Joe Hart seems certain to replace Hugo Lloris in goal.

Elsewhere, Eric Dier was not fit enough to play last weekend so Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez may have to go again in central defence.
