Team News: Dele Alli starts for Tottenham Hotspur

Dele Alli starts Spurs' visit of Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.

Mauricio Pochettino has named Dele Alli in his starting lineup for Tottenham Hotspur's last-16 Europa League clash with Borussia Dortmund at White Hart Lane tonight.

The Argentine manager named an under-strength XI last week and paid the penalty with a 3-0 defeat, and Pochettino has not included many of his heavy hitters again this evening.

There are five changes from the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday, with Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies coming into the full-back positions, while Ryan Mason starts in midfield.

Further forward, Nacer Chadli starts on the right wing as Son Heung-min leads the line at the expense of Harry Kane, who starts on the bench.

Meanwhile, Dortmund pair Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus, who did the damage last Thursday, start in North London as the Lilywhites bid to defy the odds and reach the quarter-finals.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris (c), Trippier, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Davies; Dier, Mason; Chadli, Alli, Lamela; Son
Subs: Vorm, Carter-Vickers, Rose, Carroll, Onomah, Winks, Kane

Borussia Dortmund: Weidenfeller, Piszczek, Sokratis, Subotic, Ginter, Weigl, Reus, Castro, Schmelzer, Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan
Subs: Hummels, Durm, Pulisic, Sahin, Bürki, Ramos, Kagawa
