Harry Kane captains a strong Tottenham Hotspur starting XI in Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie away at League Two side Newport County.

Harry Kane has been named as captain in a strong Tottenham Hotspur starting XI ahead of Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie away at League Two side Newport County.

Fernando Llorente starts up front alongside Kane as Mauricio Pochettino makes five changes to the team which drew 1-1 with Southampton last weekend.

Young defenders Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters are given another opportunity to impress, while Michel Vorm is in goal and Kieran Trippier and Victor Wanyama also come in.

Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min are all rested, while Christian Eriksen is not brought back into the starting XI after recovering from a bug.

Newport manager Mike Flynn has made two changes from the side which drew 1-1 with Morecambe last time out as club captain Joss Labadie and defender Ben White are recalled.

Newport County: Day; Pipe, Demetriou, White, Bennett; Butler, Willmott, Tozer, Labadie; Nouble, Amond
Subs: Bittner, Dolan, McCoulsky, Reid, O'Brien, Sheehan, Hayes

Tottenham Hotspur: Vorm; Trippier, Foyth, Vertonghen, Walker-Peters; Dier, Wanyama, Sissoko, Dembele; Llorente, Kane
