Half-Time Report: Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 Queens Park Rangers

Bobby Zamora strikes against his former club to give Queens Park Rangers a half-time lead over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

Queens Park Rangers hold a deserved half-time lead over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

Bobby Zamora, who endured a frustrating six-month spell with Spurs during the 2003-04 season, broke the deadlock against his former club on 32 minutes with a dinked close-range finish following a neat reverse pass from Alejandro Faurlin.

QPR suffered an early setback on two minutes when Jose Bosingwa was forced off with a suspected hamstring injury and replaced by Kieron Dyer.

However, the visitors have looked the more dangerous side during the opening period and have twice forced good saves out of Brad Friedel.

Clint Dempsey has had the ball in the net for Spurs, but the goal was correctly ruled out as Jermain Defoe was clearly offside.
