Tottenham Hotspur assistant manager Steffen Freund has refused to comment on the status of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris after he was left out of the side on Wednesday.
Spurs advanced to the last 16 of the Capital One Cup after beating League One outfit Carlisle United 3-0, with Carlo Cudicini preferred in goal over the France number one.
This means that Lloris has played just once for the North Londoners in a Europa League game having played second-fiddle to Brad Friedel in the Premier League, and Freund was unwilling to discuss the 25-year-old's future.
"I think at the moment we are just going from game to game," Freund said.
"It is not the right moment to talk about individual players because we had a fantastic performance as a team."
Spurs travel to Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.
