Mario Balotelli has insisted that he was not feeling any pressure when he stepped up to score the winning penalty in Manchester City's 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.
The Italian striker to converted a stoppage-time spot kick after he was brought down in the box by Spurs captain Ledley King.
"I felt no pressure [taking the penalty], nothing. I was calm, like every time I shoot a penalty," he said.
"Until the goalkeeper gets his hands on one then fine, but yet I have not missed one."
Balotelli was arguably fortunate to be on the pitch after he appeared to stamp on the head of Spurs midfielder Scott Parker.
