Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has described his side's 2-1 win against former club Tottenham Hotspur as "a massive result".
Two goals from Matthew Etherington earned the Potters the three points at the Britannia Stadium.
"It was a massive result. Against a team that have been on fire, we've got to take heart from that," Crouch told Sky Sports News.
"We showed what we're all about. Everyone put a shift in and we defended from the front. The result's sweeter because it's my old club."
The win has moved Stoke up to eighth in the Premier League table.
