Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has lavished praise on Jack Grealish for his performance in Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The England international played the full 90 minutes of the fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but could not help his side record a positive result, as Spurs ran out 1-0 winners in North London.
Guardiola said that Grealish "played with a personality and created chances", and the Citizens head coach was delighted with the 25-year-old's display over the course of the contest.
"He was excellent. He played with a personality and created chances. Unfortunately we could not win for him for his debut but he played really well. In terms of give me the ball he doesn't lose the ball, he is so dangerous close to the box," Guardiola told BBC Sport.
Grealish started on the left of a midfield three against Tottenham, with Raheem Sterling, Ferran Torres and Riyad Mahrez operating as the front three for the Premier League champions.
The Englishman became the most expensive British footballer in history when he completed a £100m move from Aston Villa on August 5.
