Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to leave Sergio Reguilon out of their 25-man Premier League squad.
The 27-year-old has been out of favour under the leadership of Ange Postecoglou since the Australian arrived at the North London club last summer.
Reguilon spent the first half of the 2023-24 term on loan at Erik ten Hag's Manchester United, where the defender made 12 appearances across all competitions.
The Spaniard returned to the Lilywhites over the January window only to be loaned out once again, linking up with Brentford for the remainder of the campaign.
With the Bees suffering injuries to key players at full-back, Reguilon enjoyed a good run in the side at the Gtech Community Stadium, playing in 16 matches.

Tottenham to leave Reguilon out of Premier League squad?
According to Football Insider, Tottenham have made a huge decision on the short-term future of former Atletico Madrid man Reguilon in North London.
The report claims that the Lilywhites are set to leave the 27-year-old out of their 25-man squad for the Premier League, running up to the January transfer window.
That would mean that Reguilon would be ineligible to feature for Spurs in the top flight, completely isolating him from the rest of his first-team counterparts.
It is understood that Postecoglou has informed the defender that he has no part to play in the first-team plans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.
The former Celtic boss recruited Destiny Udogie from Udinese last summer, with the Italian impressing massively during their debut term in the Premier League at left-back.

Is there a way out for Reguilon?
With the transfer window in England and across the majority of Europe shutting nearly a fortnight ago, there is little chance that Reguilon will be able to secure a move away from Tottenham in the immediate future.
That being said, the transfer window in Turkey and Greece stay open until late on September 13, meaning that the defender does possess an escape route.
However, it is understood that there have been no concrete offers as of yet for Reguilon, who looks set to be stuck in the Spurs wilderness until January at the earliest.
