Younes Kaboul slams "two-faced" Mauricio Pochettino

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul accuses manager Mauricio Pochettino of being "two-faced" during his time at the club.

Former Tottenham Hotspur captain Younes Kaboul has accused manager Mauricio Pochettino of being "two-faced".

The 32-year-old was handed the armband by Pochettino following his arrival at White Hart Lane in 2014, after the Argentine allowed his players to vote on who should be captain following the departure of Michael Dawson.

However, Kaboul, who now plays for Watford, has previously revealed that his relationship with Pochettino broke down during his time at the club and has now accused his former manager of being insincere.

"The one where things didn't go well was Pochettino. On the field, nothing to say, very good manager, with a philosophy and a style of play that works," Kaboul told France Football.

"Personally, it's the opposite. He's two-faced. He would say things to you and did the complete opposite behind your back. I didn't like that, and I told him. That's all."

Kaboul made 141 appearances for Spurs over two spells, but just 15 of those came under Pochettino.
