Mauricio Pochettino confirms that Harry Kane will be in Tottenham Hotspur's squad for Sunday's North London derby against Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that striker Harry Kane will be in the matchday squad for Sunday's Premier League clash against North London rivals Arsenal.

The England international has been absent for the last six weeks after suffering ligament damage in Spurs' 1-0 victory over Sunderland in September.

In the last week Kane has stepped up his recovery by taking part in training and he will make his timely return to the team, who have not won any of their last six games in all competitions.

Pochettino's men have also struggled for goals having scored just three times during that run, and while Kane's comeback is a boost for the attack, other areas of the field will be depleted given that defender Toby Alderweireld has been ruled out, while Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela are also doubts.

The Argentine boss also confirmed to reporters that Ben Davies will miss the clash against Arsenal, who have injury concerns of their own heading into the game at the Emirates.

Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal and Santi Cazorla are all thought to be doubts for the derby.
